My Inspiring Dual MBA Journey

Pursuing an MBA was a long-cherished dream of mine, one that finally came true after years of hard work and dedication. As a father of three children, living in the UAE for the past 16 years, balancing family, work, and studies was no small feat.

Before embarking on this journey, I always felt that something was missing to crown my professional career, which began 20 years ago. Despite my extensive experience and knowledge, I knew that an academic accreditation would set me apart from the competition and provide the recognition I deserved.

Five years ago, I started my MBA journey with Westford College, aiming to receive my degree from Cardiff Met University. The path was fraught with challenges, from late-night study sessions to managing the demands of my job and family. However, my determination and the unwavering support of my loved ones kept me going.

The culmination of this journey was attending the graduation ceremony in Cardiff \ Wales. It was an emotional and proud moment for me and my entire family. My wife, mother, and children accompanied me to celebrate this significant milestone. Seeing the joy and pride in their eyes made all the sacrifices worthwhile.

But I didn’t stop there. Inspired by my achievements and driven by a desire to continue growing, I decided to pursue a specialized MBA in Information Technology from Abertay University in Scotland. A few months ago, I graduated with merit status, adding another layer of accomplishment to my educational journey.

Apart from the dual MBA certificates that I currently hold, I also ended up earning two extended diplomas—one in International Business and Strategy and another in IT Management. These diplomas taught me a great deal about the business world and sharpened my knowledge and experience with the necessary academic foundation.

This journey has not only been a personal triumph but also a powerful example for my children. They have seen their father study, excel, and achieve his goals despite the odds. I hope this serves as a role model for them, demonstrating that with determination, hard work, and support, anything is possible.

The impact of my journey extended beyond my family to my professional environment as well. The positive feedback I received internally at my company was overwhelming. I became an example and reference for all who wish to continue studying and excel in their academic journey. My story has inspired colleagues to add academic accreditation to their professional experience, proving that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams and enhance your skills.

Today, all those certificates are proudly placed in the middle of the wall in our house. They serve as a constant reminder of the great journey that the whole family contributed to achieving. It stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of lifelong learning. I am grateful for the experience and excited for the future possibilities it has opened up for me.

Finally, I thank Westford University College for offering this opportunity, My family, colleagues, and all who supported me during this journey. Without their encouragement and support, this achievement would not have been possible
